Princess Diaries 3 will be a prequel to the initial 2 installments in the Princess Diaries franchise. Anne Hathaway took to social media to release her announcement video, “Miracles Happen” in which she confirms the release of Princess Diaries 3.

According to Anne Hathaway, “first substantial film role, the second film I ever did, was ‘The Princess Diaries.’ I was so generously invited into that process by Garry Marshall; he valued my take on being a teenage girl and elevated me to such a valued status on set that it never occurred to me on other sets that I didn’t have that same autonomy.”

Plot: What Do We Know So Far

We know that Adele Lim, who directed Crazy Rich Asians will be directing this movie.
