According to sources, She underwent a procedure known as Oophorectomy: a procedure to remove one or both ovaries.
What caused the Speculation for Kate’s Disappearance?
On March 10, the Princess of Wales Kate uploaded a family photograph that seemed to be manipulated and edited. this surprised the public because before then, the duchess was out of the public eye since she announced the surgery in mid-January. This photo was flagged just hours later as there were allegations the picture had been manipulated. The photograph was blurry from different parts and seemed to be photoshopped.

The second reason was her being disappeared from public appearances and media. The Palace released a statement on January 29 stating that the Princess has returned home safely and recovering. However, the public did not physically see Kate Middleton make any appearances, raising more concerns.
