Walmart Recalls Apple Juice Sold in 25 States Due to Elevated Arsenic Levels. According to the Food and Drug Administration, Walmart has recalled over 10, 000 cases of apple juice after they were found to have high levels of arsenic. This recall also applies to Walmart’s brand, Great Value. The Great Value apple juice that is sold in 8-ounce bottles and comes in a pack of 6 is also being recalled. The Walmart apple juice recall was initiated in August. However, the FDA has given it Class II urgent classification as of Friday. Class II is only initiated when the product has caused health effects and leads to serious medical and health issues.
