Noor Jahan Last Episode: Fans Have Mixed Reactions to the Ending. The long-time public favorite drama Noor Jahan concluded its story with yesterday’s last episode. The drama had aired on ARY Digital and had a very different storyline and plot. Moreover, it was directed by Musadik Malik and written by Zanjaee Shah.
The drama also had a stellar cast, including Saba Hamed, Kubra Khan, Ali Rehman, Zoya Nasir, Hajra Yasmin and Noor Ul Hassan.
What Happened in the Last Episode of Noor Jahan
In the last episode, Noor Jahan was eventually left alone by all her sons and bahus. She realized she was in the wrong and had taken revenge for what had happened to her on her bahus. Once her children all leave she comes to this realization. She sends her children an audio message to apologize for everything and ask for their forgiveness.
The drama began with Noor Jahan’s birthday and her being surrounded by her family. Similarly, that’s how the drama ended as well. With all her sons and bahus forgiving Noor Jahan, they all joined together to celebrate Noor Jahan’s birthday.
Fans Have Mixed Reactions to Noor Jahan’s Ending
Many people loved the ending of this drama. No one saw the ending coming because all expected Noor Jahan to be left alone with her ego and pride. However, she did a whole 180 and surprised her family and fans as well. In addition, the public believed that the drama had some great lessons about gender discrimination.
However many were disappointed as well. For one, Noor Jahan destroyed Sumbul’s life. She got her son married to a woman who he did not love. After her son ran away, Sumbul still stayed with Noor Jahan and took care of her. However, when he came back and soon learned he was becoming a father of a son, he distanced himself from Sumbul and Noor Jahan did nothing to save Sumbul’s marriage. When Sumbul got a job, Noor Jahan kicked her out. Even so much as that Sumbul’s divorce happened because of Noor Jahan. So… does Sumbul not deserve an apology?
And what about Noor Bano? Her father was killed as a result of Noor Jahan’s ego. Yes, Noor Bano had a big heart and was forgiving, but regardless, perhaps all her sons also owed Noor Bano an apology.
