  • Baking dish
  • Baking Sheet
  • Large Bowl
  • Whisk

Total Time: 2 hours and 45 minutes

Serves: 10-12 People

Ingredients 

Ingredients  Quantity 
Unsalted Butter  ¾ cups
White Bread  1 lb (10 cups)
White Onions (chopped) 2 ½ cups 
Celery (slices) 1 ½ cups
Parsely (chopped) ½ cup
Fresh Sage  2 tbsp 
Fresh Rosemary  1 tbsp 
Fresh Thyme  1 tbsp 
Salt  2 tsp (or to taste)
Black Pepper Powder  1 tsp (or to taste)
Chicken Broth  2 ½ cups 
Eggs 2

Preparation 

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees
  2. Preparing the Bread:
    1. Grease your pan with butter and set it aside
    2. On your baking sheet, bread your bread into one-inch pieces and spread it across
    3. Bake until the bread is completely dried
    4. cool off the bread
  3. Preparing the stuffing
    1. melt ¾ cups of unsalted butter into a large pan on medium heat 
    2. add in your onions
    3. add in the celery
    4. mix until the veggies begin to turn brown (this should take about 10 minutes)
  4. Preparing the broth
    1. option 1: boil some chicken and use the broth
    2. option 2: use canned chicken broth
    3. option 3: boil a chicken stock cube and use that broth
  5. Preparing the seasoning
    1. to the bowl with the baked bread, add in
      1. parsley
      2. sage
      3. Rosemary
      4. thyme
      5. salt
      6. black pepper powder
      7. drizzle half the broth and toss gently
  6. preparing the entire stuffing
    1. preheat the oven to 350 degrees
    2. whisk together 2 eggs and mix in the remaining half of the broth in a bowl
    3. fold the mixture into the bread bowl
    4. once fully mixed, transfer the stuffing into a baking pan
    5. bake for 40 minutes
